On November 13, 2018, the Honorable Alan Marin, of the Supreme Court, Richmond County, granted Mr. Barker’s motion for a directed verdict on behalf of his hospital client.
On November 8, 2018, the Honorable Fernando Tapia, of the Supreme Court, Bronx County, granted Mr. Patterson’s motion for a directed verdict on behalf of his client, a board certified surgeon.

On October 23, 2018, Ed Arevalo secured a defense verdict in Nassau County Supreme Court on behalf of a prominent neuro-radiologist. Plaintiff’s counsel alleged the defendant failed to diagnose a cerebral aneurysm in a 42 year old woman which they claimed led to a rupture of the vessel, requiring a craniotomy.
